Anyone who has been watching this series of metaphysical Bible studies will know that the book of Revelations is probably the most important part of the biblical puzzle. It is full of juicy and compelling information about the bodies beautiful somatic divisions: physical, emotional, mental and spiritual.
It is such a pleasure and honor to study and share these chapters in such depth and I can not thank you (the viewers) and my generous patrons enough for tuning in and sharing this incredible journey of exploration with me.
I'd like to share an excerpt from the book The Living Message by Eugene H Peterson which sums up the book of Revelation (Apocalypse) very clearly and precisely. I was about 14 years old when my late Father gave me this book, little did I know what an important part of my journey it would be!
"This last book of the Bible takes the entire biblical revelation and re-images it in a compelling, persuading, evangelistic vision which has brought perseverance, stamina, joy, and discipline to people for centuries, and continues to do so.
Not everything about everything is in the Scriptures, but all that God intends for us to know of his love for us and his salvation for us and our responses to him is here.
The law and the prophets and the writings are set under the incarnation of "Jesus Christ" and made to work for our salvation. The incarnation works retroactively on ALL OTHER SCRIPTURE AND RESHAPES IT IN THIS FINAL VISION.
THE REVELATION DOES NOT ADD TO WHAT IS ALREADY THERE, BUT SHOWS HOW ALL OF SCRIPTURE IS PUT TO WORK IN THE CHURCH AND THE WORLD.
The Revelation is NOT, as some have assumed, a change of strategy on God's part after the original plan of salvation turned out not to work; IT IS THE ORIGINAL PLAN ITSELF, WORKING POWERFULLY, GLORIOUSLY, AND TRIUMPHANTLY."

I just love how this description reminds us that the book of Revelation is a composition. Most of the material within it is taken from other sources, with small integrations of original imagery being interwoven to complete the narrative.
Some of the symbols are taken from old testament books such as Daniel and Ezekiel, and there's a plethora of other Egyptian, Greek and Babylonian mythological symbols used to signify INTEGRAL, VIVIFYING INFORMATION as well.
Hilton Hotema says that the original writer (or compiler) of the book of Revelation was an unknown Jew and that when it was first presented for publication it was rejected as fraudulent.
The misinterpretation of Holy Scripture has played a sad role in the dis-empowerment of mankind and I will close this blog post with a very important excerpt from the incredible book, AWAKENING THE WORLD WITHIN:
"Millions (of fools) believed this stupid doctrine (to be literal). But "Jesus Christ" did not return, old Satan was not locked up, and humanity by spending all it's time dodging the devil and preparing for heaven (in death), became little better, and much filthier, than animals. The Church had made a promise, the people believed it -- result: MORE THAN A THOUSAND YEARS OF MISERY, IGNORANCE, FILTH, AND DEPRAVITY -- THE DARK AGES...
...The ancient scrolls from which the Bible was compiled were not of religious character and did not treat of any God. THEY WERE SCIENTIFIC WORKS AND DEALT SYMBOLICALLY WITH THE MYSTERY OF CREATION, THE NATURE OF LIFE AND THE CONSTITUTION OF MAN...
The last book of the Bible deals allegorically with THE KINGDOM OF LIFE WITHIN (Luke 17:21). The Book with the Seven Seals (Rev. 5), is mans body. It has Seven vital control centers, and they are called seals because in the average individual they are in a semi-dormant state, WHICH REDUCES CONSCIOUSNESS TO A VERY LOW LEVEL, below that of beasts and fowls...
...That is the reason why the Masters guarded this discovery with such jealous care, imparting the secret only to the Neophyte in the Ritual of Initiation in the Ancient Mysteries."
