Genesis 7:11 states that the flood began on the seventeenth day of the second month. This timing is highly significant -- the seventeenth day represents a correlation with sacred mathematics and prime numbers, while the second month corresponds to the second chakra (Swadhisthana), the energy centre associated with water, emotion, and procreation.

In alchemical terms, this marks the moment when the lower waters of the body—the primal, generative forces -- are stirred. This activation signals the start of the purification process, where these energies must be consciously raised and transmuted rather than lost to the lower nature.
