CAN YOU REACH SPIRIT IN A TOXIC BODY?

Most spiritual teachings, religions and philosophies point toward purification as a fundamental element in their sacred systems.
For example:
1. The Bhagavad Gita (Chapter 6, Verse 16-17):
"There is no possibility of one's becoming a yogi, O Arjuna, if one eats too much or eats too little, sleeps too much, or does not sleep enough. But one who is temperate in his habits of eating, sleeping, working, and recreation can mitigate all material pains by practicing the yoga of meditation."
2. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 (KJV):
"What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's."
3. Chapter 4, the Kybalion (Hermetic Text):
"The Spirit cannot flow through a vessel that is full of dirt or impurities; the more that is purified, the more Spirit can flow freely."
5. Chandogya Upanishad 8.7.1:
"The mind is everything; what you think you become. The spirit cannot rise while the body is polluted with desires and cravings. To ascend, the body must be purified as the soul cleanses the mind."
These verses all emphasize how spiritual advancement is tied to purification of both the body and the mind. Explaining that desires (energies and imprints) and toxicity (chemicals and substances) in the body can bind the soul, preventing it from ascending to higher states of being.
These teachings Illustrate that through yoga, balanced living, cleansing desires, and fasting or detoxing we can properly channel and develop spiritual energy toward super consciousness awakening.
A toxic body prevents the proper functioning of spiritual energy because the body, mind, and spirit are deeply interconnected. The physical body is a vessel or temple for the spirit, and its health and purity can either facilitate or hinder the flow of divine energy.
Here’s why:
Toxicity in the body -- whether from physical substances (like poor diet, chemicals, or pollution), emotional toxicity (like stress, unresolved trauma, or negative emotions), or spiritual impurities (like harmful thoughts or energies) -- creates blockages or disruptions in the natural flow of energy within the body.
Blockages in the body's energy systems (e.g., meridians, chakras or nadis), affect the endocrine system causing chemical imbalances.
For example:
⚡️ Unprocessed anger affects adrenal function and thus blocks the central energy centres (chakras).
⚡️ Smoking affects the chemical secretions of the thyroid, putting stress on the spiritual body and inhibiting the rise kundalini.
⚡️ Physical impurities -- such as the build-up of acidity or toxins can lead to feelings of heaviness, fatigue, or sluggishness, both mentally and physically (the opposite of what spiritual liberation feels like).
Both the body and the mind are the channels through which spiritual energy (light) flows. When the body is overburdened by toxins, it becomes weakened, and its ability to vibrate at higher frequencies is diminished. But the more the body is cleansed, the more it can resonate with higher frequencies, allowing the individual spirit to be in tune with divine mind and limitless potential.
The body truly is a temple for light energy and divine essence. Imagine your lymphatic fluid as stain glass window and think how much light expands in the temple when the window is clean!
